QUALIFICATIONS
I spent six years with a subcontractor building residential homes in and around Gainesville, Florida. I practiced law for 15 years with an emphasis on construction defect litigation. I started my own home inspection business in 2003 and succesfully completed the National Home Inspectors Examination. I joined the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) in 2005 and have attained Certified Member status.
I am a certified Wind Mitigation Surveyor and am also certified as a Disaster Housing Inspector with FEMA subcontractor PaRR.
I have inspected more than 6,000 homes in north central Florida since 2002 and offer a consistent, computer generated report with each inspection. My inspection standards meet or exceed standards established by ASHI and include an Inspection Agreement outlining scope and limits of the inspection process. I operate my business with General Liability and Errors & Omissions (E & O) insurance.
